Jugni Restaurant & Bar

Such welcoming and warm staff with the most beautiful, fresh food perfect for a quick bite before a movie or a nice family dinner. We ordered the Pani Puri (which my kids filled with butter chicken!), coconut rice that was fluffy and fragrant, fresh raita and a side of Lacha Onions. The butter chicken was so tender with identifiable pieces of chicken that melted in our mouth. Finished off the meal with Gulab Jamun. The waiter joked that we are officially half Indian, which I’ll happily accept since we ordered a very “Anglo/Aussie” version of their menu. I haven’t left yet and I’m already planning my next visit!

We recently hosted a bride-to-be party at Jugni. The food was absolutely amazing the chicken dum biriyani, butter chicken curry and garlic naan were full of flavour and cooked perfectly. Even now, just thinking about it makes me hungry! The space is lovely for small gatherings, and the overall vibe was great. However, we were a bit disappointed at the start our reserved table wasn’t ready when we arrived, and it took a while to get things sorted. Thankfully, the staff eventually helped us settle in, and everything went smoothly from there. Despite the rocky start, we had a wonderful time and truly enjoyed the food and atmosphere. I’d still recommend Jugni, especially for the food!

Came here for Mother's day dinner. The place was fully packed but the service was quick. This place and the food served here is an absolute delight. The food portions served are good and hearty. The size of the entree was good that we were not left with any space to eat mains. But have to come back again to enjoy mains The food was delicious. Has a play space for kids which allowed the kids to vent out bit of energy. Highly recommended.

Excellent customer service. We dined in for lunch, was pretty quiet. I had the best mango lassi ever, I might drop in again just for thatThe biryanis tasted nice and portions were big and decent prices as well. Place had a good ambiance.

Outstanding! So glad there is now a quality Indian restaurant close to home. The staff here are so friendly and accommodating. From the moment you enter you are greeted with friendly and attentive service. The venue itself is really nice with plenty of room. And the food itself is awesome. The chicken tikka tacos are amazing and the butter chicken was one of the best we’ve had. Everything else was great too. Will be back here again for sure. Highly recommend!

I had an excellent lunch experience at Jugni. The ambiance was fantastic, and both the presentation and quality of the food were top-notch. It’s definitely a great spot for quality dining in Geelong. The staff were professional, and the service was outstanding. I’ll definitely be returning soon!

From food to service and to the atmosphere inside the restaurant everything was just simply amazing. Staff were attentive and helpful. Then food came which was so fresh and delicious. Out of all the other Indian restaurants in Geelong which serves you million of items on their menu and completely forgetting about flavours and freshness, JUGNI had a well balanced menu with ample options for entrees and mains and Most Importantly you could tell the food was made fresh and with passion and love. Being a Chef myself, would say that this place is the go to if you want to eat something nice and not highly pricey.
